1. Gemma Wilkinson

Episode #8: “How to Overcome Your Biggest Obstacle”

To start us off we have my amazing friend Gemma Wilkinson, who is a transition and transformation coach at A Different Choice. Gemma holds certifications as a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) with iPEC and an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the ICF. She is deeply passionate about how women speak to themselves and is determined to challenge the damaging "truths" imposed on women. Her mission is to create safe spaces where women can explore, express, and embody their true choices.

Gemma's unique journey blends her corporate expertise with a passionate commitment to empower women without judgment, offering support, curiosity, and an occasional swear word. After realizing that she had dedicated much of her life to corporate agendas at the expense of her own well-being, Gemma made the bold decision to resign from her job and embark on a journey of self-discovery.

This episode contains an engaging and inspiring conversation with Gemma as she helps us identify and then overcome our biggest obstacles!

2. Michele Santo

Episode #42: “How To Tap Your Way To Food Freedom”

Episode #51: “How To Find More Time For Yourself”

Michele Santo is one of our only guests who has been back twice in this first year of Nourish with Michelle Fox. She is an inspired Energy Healer, Writer, and EFT Practitioner who helps women create more fulfilling relationships by asking for what they want.

Listen to both episodes for an opportunity to indulge in different tapping sessions.  We walk through exercises in which she helped me work through some of my emotional discomforts.

Michele describes Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), or tapping, as a method of regulating the nervous system by clearing our stress and assisting our energy flow. The process involves tapping certain points on our body and using verbal statements, and is an incredible way to release 40% of our anxiety in as fast as 10 minutes!

3. Tovi Scruggs-Hussein

Episode #47: “Rest is Our Birthright”

In this refreshing episode, we had the pleasure of welcoming the remarkable Tovi Scruggs-Hussein to the podcast. Tovi is an inspiring leader and educator in self-healing and transformation, and it was an honor to chat about what it means to rest - and the power behind allowing yourself to rest.

During our conversation, we discuss transformation. Tovi emphasizes that rest goes beyond traditional self-care, playing a crucial role in restoring creativity and self-alignment. She urges us to challenge the unhealthy grind culture and prioritize pace over pressure.

Tovi emphasizes that healing comes from within, through practices like meditation and a healthier lifestyle. However, the journey to rest and healing is ongoing and gradual. It is unnecessary to rush the process and it’s important to pace ourselves.

Not only do we learn more about the definition of rest with Tovi, she also shares some tips on how to get started on your healing journey today.

  1. Develop an intentional mindset to determine the lifestyle you desire.
  2. Allocate time for rest, allowing yourself to explore your preferences.
  3. Explore relevant books like Rest is Resistance by Tricia Hersey and Grind Culture Detox by Heather Archer.

4. Steve Black aka Hot Husband

Episode #45: “Are you Sober Curious?”

In this heartfelt episode of Nourish, my husband Steve opens up about his decision to embrace a life of sobriety. I also share my side of the relationship as this honest conversation delves deep into our transformation while offering invaluable insights for those who may be curious about the sober lifestyle.

Throughout our conversation, we emphasized the vital role of a strong support system when pursuing sobriety. We shared our experiences as a couple, discussing the challenges we faced and how our relationship not only survived but thrived through mutual understanding and space to grow.

Steve and I delved into the concept of being "sober curious" and the personal growth that comes with examining one's relationship with alcohol. We encourage you to reflect on your own habits and beliefs surrounding alcohol consumption and potential addictions.

I remain in awe of my husband's courage, discipline, and healing journey, which has brought immense positive changes to our marriage and family bond. If you or someone you know is struggling with alcohol addiction, there is hope. Steve found answers through Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), and I discovered invaluable support through Al-Anon.

5. Melinda Jacobs, CCHt

Episode #48: “Why You Can’t Seem To Lose Weight”

In this enlightening episode, I sat down with Melinda Jacobs, CCHt, a clinical hypnotherapist, speaker, teacher, author, and licensed practitioner who has been working in the healing arts since 1988 with people in 46 countries around the world. Her intuitive coaching practice Quantum Therapeutics specializes in empowering people to heal through and beyond trauma.

During our conversation, Melinda expresses that we are accustomed to bypassing our feelings when we bump into the vulnerable parts of ourselves.  She teaches us how to look at our habits, identify what’s underneath our behavior, and navigate cravings accordingly.

We discuss what cellular release therapy is and how it can help us release a lot of our excessive subconscious data. Melinda also highlights the importance of being kind and gentle with ourselves, and to start loving yourself where you are.

So much wisdom! If Nourish continues to inspire you, and you would love to support us further, then please share this podcast with others!
